Chesterton Customseal delivers large diameter sealing solutions engineered to minimise downtime and maximise reliability. Leveraging state-of-the-art CNC machining, we manufacture seals up to 96″ (2,440 mm) in outer diameter—and through our advanced fusion-welding technology, we’ve delivered bespoke seals as large as 138″ (3,500 mm), effectively offering virtually unlimited sizing capabilities.
Chesterton’s proprietary thermoset polyurethane has the best abrasion resistance in the industry and is used in high-pressure equipment up to 185°F.
High-temperature polyurethane is used in heavy-duty high-temperature applications up to 250°F.
Lower durometer polyurethane offers the best primary sealing capability when installed in our popular 11K Split Seal assembly.
Blends sustain temperatures from as low as -265°F to 500°F.
