The Chesterton 630 SXCF was first trialed on a new coupling chain. Due to the superior adhesion properties 630 SXCF was able to perform high speed application, beyond expectations. The plant undertook trials for 1 month. After which, they opened the chain coupling cover and found that the grease was still in good condition. They continued to check the oil every month for a year and still found the grease to be in exceptional condition. Therefore, they decided to extend the preventive maintenance period for chain coupling replacement from 6 months to 1 year.
